But when it comes to blush placement, if you’re using your apple as a guide, make sure that you’re not applying the blush too low. How do you know? Have a look at your blush when you’re not smiling. If your placement is below your nostril, the blush is actually having the effect of dragging your face down.
I always recommend applying blush when you’re not smiling. Your cheeks will be at their natural level (as opposed to smiling level!) which will ensure that your placement is exactly where you intended it to be.
